so far, what i've seen isn't really my style.  not that i'm surprised.  being that, while i love seeing her crazy, fantastic ensembles, i've never thought, "ooh, i would wear that...(fascinator, see-through dress, etc)!" 

i do, however, like this image from the collection. 

this ring might be the only piece i'd get (and wear) for myself (because, honestly, i do want to get something - it's ADR!).

i've mentioned the work of jimmie lynn of wingo designs a time or two here on the swing. she makes beautiful and cute and crafty enamel necklaces.

i briefly oohed and ahhed over her work at the indie craft parade back in september, but didn't get to spend nearly enough time looking through all that she had to offer. thankfully, i'll have plenty of time to check out her latest work at the wingo & lala trunk show saturday, november 13 at art & light! i can't wait to check out some of the asymmetrical 2 piece necklaces that she had at the parade - and maybe pick out a little something for Christmas!

this is absolutely the coolest idea for a wedding band i have ever seen. visually (outwardly) simple & understated, but what a neat symbolic connection underneath it all - wearing the most unique & identifiable feature of the one you love.

my sister (of kelley smith style) sent me a link to art & light's blog today and it didn't take me long to know why. this little gray & yellow number is calling my name! and if i knew someone in greece, i would certainly recommend the blue & white one to the right.
